Fixed Point Gas Detection

Point gas detectors, or gas monitors, are designed for alerting users to the presence of gas in or near a specific gas hazard. Sensidyne gas monitors are designed with a sensor head that can be mounted in a remote location - closer to a potential gas hazard - while placing the transmitter in a more convenient location, thereby simplifying maintenance. Gas monitors are relied upon by customers for personnel safety and asset protection.

SensAlert Plus

SensAlert Plus was developed with the user in mind - adding features that make it the easiest to install, use and maintain. The large, clear LCD screen& offers a non-intrusive user interface and intuitive menu structure. On 3-wire models the LCD screen is back-lit making it easy to see regardless of the location where it is installed.

Electro-Optical fire and flame detectors are advanced electronic devices that sense the radiated electromagnetic energy of a fire in the Ultraviolet (UV), Visible (VIS) and Infrared (IR) wavelengths and detect fires at the speed of light. Our flame detectors have extremely high false alarm immunity due to their ability to "see" using a patented WideBand™ technology that also enables them to detect both hydrocarbon and non-hydrocarbon fires using the same model. All of these fire detectors are solar blind and can be used indoors and outdoors.

Controllers

4-Channel Controller

The SensAlert 4-Channel Controller powers and monitors up to 4 gas detectors. With three alarm relays per channel plus a common fault relay, the Controller provides local or remote annunciation via the optional strobe and standard 90 dB buzzer. The controller has a latched alarm reset button and discrete LED value displays plus LCD displays for gas name or type and value. Discrete 4-20 mA and Modbus (RS-485) Protocol outputs are standard. Most SensAlert and SensAlert Plus transmitters, when used with this controller, will automatically configure to display the gas type, range and factory default alarms, making system set up quick and easy.

16-Channel Controller

The Model 7100 16-Channel Controller provides simultaneous display and Alarm functions for 1 to 16 Analog or Modbus inputs. A graphic LCD displays monitored data as trends, bar graphs or in engineering (PPM / %LEL) units. Three adjustable alarm levels are provided per channel and relay outputs control beacons, horns and other alarm functions.
