WARREN CONTROLS Pressure Independent Control Valves
The PICV allows a building management system to control differential temperature to the coil or HEX and vary the control valve without external disturbances influencing flow rates. Maximizes ?T, stability, efficiency and energy savings. Designed for large complexes where attention to the carbon footprint is important. Allowing ±1 degree of setpoint versus the typical 3 degrees, equaling much less energy wasted, and much tighter temperature control.

WARREN CONTROLS AmurAct Fast Electrically Actuated Control Valves
The first electric actuator that replicates the speed and tight shutoff of a pneumatic and at 1% of the operating costs of making air. Think about $800/year/valve versus $8/year/valve. Made possible by an innovative, specially designed linkage that enhances a valve’s equal percentage flow characteristic providing rapid response to load changes and accurate, stable control of water, steam and common energy transfer fluids in a variety of demanding industrial and commercial applications. Warren Controls’ compact AmurAct electrically operates 1/2” through 4” control valves with shutoff capability rivaling pneumatics. Works with multiple supply voltages and signals. Electronic fail-safe needs no electrical energy to maintain lockup against elevated water or steam pressures. Stainless steel linkage construction is maintenance-free.
Building Automation
Warren Controls offers control valve configurations to meet the needs of nearly any building automation control system. A configuration is a valve body assembly, complete with an actuator that can modulate the valve plug to control flow. Stem operating forces are dependent upon packing friction, the size of the seat opening, or area of imbalance, and the differential pressure against which the valve must operate or close. Actuator selections include a variety of pneumatic and electric operators.

WARREN CONTROLS Diaphragm Actuated Valves
When an air supply is available, the features of spring-and-diaphragm pneumatic actuators provide a cost effective solution. These powerful operators incorporate large diaphragm areas that in combination with the wide variety of valve types can achieve high close-off and tight shut-off. Warren Controls Building Automation pneumatic actuators use air pressure to extend their stems, and spring force to retract them, so that attached stem-in-to-close valve bodies will open upon reduction or loss of air pressure (fail open), and stem-out-to-close valve bodies will shut (fail shut). Control precision, split range and close-off forces are optimized by the use of positive positioners.
